In 1962, a small Reggio Emilia company began manufacturing fittings and equipment for bars and small restaurants. In 1980, following an idea of the owner and of an expert in the sales sector, the first pasta cooker (an appliance for cooking pasta and other foods in separate baskets and intended for community centres, restaurants, hotels, etc.) saw the light. DESCO s.r.l. is the company, established in 1981 for the sale of pasta cookers and other appliances for restaurants which, in 1989, acquired and subsequently expanded the small firm. Over thirty years experience has made possible the manufacture of reliable and complete appliances now exported throughout the European Union, as well as to Finland, Norway, Croatia, Malta, the U.S.A., Canada, Mexico and some African countries. |
